Where to begin? How can I explain the 1 year absence from the site? I really dont know what to say so lets tackle it in small chunks and hopefully I can get away with it.
First of all, it is important to state that although this website fell down my list of priorities, all daily services were resumed. This include but is not limited to the Biomutation Award, Affiliates and Email messages.
I have just cleared all the spam and junk comments left by automated bots. Life has been very busy and all this spam doesnt really make it any easier on maintenance. Although I am still very active in the pro design world, I am almost invisible in the design community whether at GfxDiary or any other forum. Rest assured, this does not mean I will be shutting everything down. Far from it in fact. It simply means I spend my time working on commercial design for the web and print media instead of wasting long hours creating personal desktop wallpapers and digital artwork - the majority of which don't even make its way to the gallery section of this site purely down to laziness.
However, there's a big update taking place soon. I have began working on the improved theme and layout that will be replacing the rust around here . I'd like to point out that half of the current affiliates will be removed as they lead to dead sites, redirected links or because they have taken down the reciprocal link. One can only ask: what part of "link exchange" dont they understand
Those of you who are eager to know more about the new layout, its a simplified improvement to the current structure. Compliant xHTML and CSS code and Im not sure if this is still relevant as we dive into the broadband world but loading times will increase by upto 60%. Keep your eyes peeled!

Deadlines Approaching

Hope you had a good Easter break! I've returned from my vacation and been busy with work.

Yes you've guessed it, this is my improved GfxRing engine which is now fully rewritten and further perfected. In other news, there are a few affiliates and splash entires received which will be added in the next update so stay tuned...

Easter Around The Corner

Hello all, Easter is around the corner. I've already started my holiday and looking forward to a peaceful and quiet time with the family. Its been a tough few months at uni.
I've been spending most of my time over at WebMasterTrader.com talking and doing business with other webmasters out there. Over the coming month I'll be very busy typing up my project report. But just to bring a smile on your faces, I am now open to affiliation once again.

BioGame Status

Finally a programmer has been secured for the BioGame Project. Work on the development is now being planned out in detail and work will begin on establishing the first BioGame BETA!

Back On Track For 2005

What a bumpy start to the year. As some of you may know, GfxDiary and Biomutation officially closed down for two weeks pending a change of host. Well, guess what - here we are back online
We understand this caused GfxRing and our Award winners to see broken images on their site, however this issue is now resolved. GfxRing is still not 100% back online but we are working on this.
Thanks to our new host Kualo.com for powering us in 2005 and beyond. They are providing us with remarkable and professional hosting, geographically located in key parts of the world for maximum speed. As you may have already noticed, there are massive speed increases on the site as a result. Watch out for the re-launch of GfxDiary.com its coming your way in the next few days...
